Recall that we have discussed several sites which offer free resources. Some of these sites offer free e-mail, and some offer free e-mail and web space. The two we discussed are www.hotmail.com and www.geocities.com. It would be a good idea for you to take advantage of these resources. Therefore, for 2 extra points to your last exam score
  1. Set up your free e-mail account at www.hotmail.com.

  2. Set up your free web space at www.geocities.com.
To verify that you have done this, send an e-mail message to lynn@mathstat.usouthal.edu using your hotmail account. Within the body of this e-mail message, include your name and your web page address on geocities. You will need to go to www.hotmail.com first if you don't have an e-mail address because you are required to give an e-mail address when you set up your free web space on geocities.

Set up a guestbook on your web page. You can find how to do this on the geocities page. One page you might want to check out is the geocities file manager, http://www.geocities.com/cgi-bin/homestead/file_manager.
